You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures, managing quality control teams, and monitoring the overall quality of processes and deliverables.
Your objective is to establish a culture of continuous improvement and drive the organization towards achieving high-quality products or services.
Responsibilities:
Quality Control Procedures:
Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Define and communicate quality objectives and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.
Quality Control Systems:
Establish and maintain a robust quality control system to monitor and evaluate all stages of the production or service delivery process.
Implement quality control tools, techniques, and methodologies to identify and address quality issues.
Quality Audits:
Conduct regular quality audits to assess adherence to quality control procedures and identify areas for improvement.
Review documentation, processes, and records to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
Non-Conformance Management:
Identify, investigate, and resolve non-conformance issues that arise during the production or service delivery process.
Analyze root causes, implement corrective actions, and track the effectiveness of preventive measures.
Quality Training and Awareness:
Develop and deliver quality training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees involved in quality control.
Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Supplier Quality Management:
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish and maintain a robust supplier quality management program.
Evaluate supplier performance, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions to ensure the delivery of high-quality materials or services.
Quality Documentation:
Develop and maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, inspection checklists, and quality records.
Ensure documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and aligns with industry best practices.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Prepare quality reports and dashboards to communicate performance metrics, quality issues, and improvement opportunities to management and relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes, reduce defects, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Implement lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to drive process optimization.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on relevant industry regulations, standards, and quality requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and certifications, such as ISO 9001 or industry-specific certifications.

Requirements:
Preferred Secret Clearance but not required.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
A master's degree or professional certification in quality management are preferred.
Proven experience in quality control management, preferably in a manufacturing or service-oriented industry.
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, tools, methodologies, and industry standards.
Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 or related standards.
Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control SPC), root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify quality issues, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
Experience in conducting quality audits, managing non-conformance, and implementing preventive/corrective actions.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to the industry.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Ability to lead and motivate teams, foster a culture of quality, and drive continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to lift and carry equipment and work in confined spaces.
