8K a year BOAT ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN Sailfish is searching for Boat Assembly Technicians Experienced in Outboard Motor Installation of any Brand Rigging and electronics installation Troubleshooting & Diagnostics Background In Electrical Systems Outboard Mechanical Experience Professional, Positive personality Strong Work Ethic Must Be Able To Work In A Fast Pace Environment Must Be Dependable and Work Well With Others EQUIPMENT Various air, hand and power tools Working knowledge of hoist system WORKING ENVIRONMENT Performing General Physical Activities:
Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials Non-Climate controlled warehouse production environment The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time The ability to lift fifty pounds Flexible schedule is required SAFETY REQUIREMENTS Must possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times and report all hazards to Management and Human Resources immediately Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to:
hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirator etc.
Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including but not limited to:
lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing stairs, reaching, grasping, gripping, pushing, pulling, and spending entire working hours on your feet, etc.
Must be able to understand all safety related documents and work-site rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment All duties and responsibilities, as assigned, are essential functions and requirements.
To perform this job successfully, the employee must possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to perform each duty proficiently.
