Job
Summary:
Set up and operates polyester core hose making equipment for HVAC applications.
Essentials Functions:
Performs a normal range of duties to operate mechanical equipment to produce various sizes of wire reinforce air ducts.
Works from prints, instructions or specifications.
Performs all set-ups.
Changes mandrels, loads materials, monitors controls and makes adjustments within specified tolerance.
Makes boxes, applies labels and packs product.
Loads and moves material as necessary.
Secondary Duties:
Records time, quality and production data.
Monitors work for quality control.
Performs frequent inspections for quality control.
Reports machine wear and defects beyond set-up skills level.
Coordinates major repairs with maintenance.
Qualifications:
Education:
Prefer high school diploma or GED
Experience:
6 months to 1 year for proficiency Skills:
Ability to use measuring devices Basic math skills to use decimals and fractions Special Requirements:
Continuous standing Full range of motion to perform set-ups, operate machine and pack product.
