4K a year BOAT DETAILER This is a full-time position.
Boat detailers are responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of boats to ensure they are in ship shape.
Perform final finish/detail, including all aspects of ensuring the boats are immaculate and ready for shipping.
RESPONSIBILITIES Include but not limited to; Use of cleaning products, high-speed buffers, and polishers to properly detail each boat.
Assist with cleaning and sanitation to ensure a professional work environment.
Other duties include emptying trash, sweeping, and other duties as deemed necessary by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Candidate must have prior knowledge and experience in the following areas, and must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodation:
Must have an eye for detail Ability to read and understand Production Schedule Ability to work and maintain essential functions of job in a fast-paced position Knowledge of area and job tasks Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal Positive attitude, high dependability, and promotion of good morale Strong recordkeeping abilities Working knowledge of procedures , instructions, and documents as it relates to company quality standards, and written skills Reliable transportation, and good attendance are essential and required SAFETY REQUIREMENTS Must possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times and report all hazards to Management and Human Resources immediately Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, EAP and other regulatory agencies Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to:
safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirator etc.
Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including but not limited to:
lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing stairs, reaching, grasping, gripping, pushing, pulling, and spending entire working hours on your feet Must be able to understand all safety related documents and work-site rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment All duties and responsibilities, as assigned, are essential functions and requirements.
To perform this job successfully, the employee must possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to perform each duty proficiently.
