In order to apply for a paraprofessional position, you must have completed one of the following:
2 year college degreeearned 100 quarter or 60 semester hours of college creditpassed the Georgia Paraprofessional Assesment (this test is available at the Board of Education office - call 229-377-3701 for details)Minimum

Hold or qualify for a GA Paraprofessional Rank I or Rank II LicensePhysical ability to assist in transferring physically disabled studentsPossess good verbal and communication skillsPossess integrity and high standard of ethics and confidentialityStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse populationPossess ability to assume responsibility for implementing teacher directed behavioral programsModel professionalism in temperament, attitude, appearance and ethicsPrimary Duties:
Support the teacher and instruction in a Special Education Classroom or Inclusive Regular Education EnvironmentSupport student learning through a variety of support activitiesSupport student safety through a variety of support activitiesAssist students in bathroom skills to include changing diapers as neededAssist students with daily hygiene needs and feeding as neededAssist with physical assistance in behavior programs as neededAbout the Company:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
